We are in deep sorrow, as you and your family are, when we heard the news about the loss of your father, Prof. Liu Tianpei, a well-respected scholar in Pharmacology. Many of us were his students and very much impressed by his profound knowledge and expertise he had in the field. Because of his dedicated teaching and education, we are able to survive and to continue his research in a foreign land.
We want you to know that we regret our absence in his funeral and
